Becoming a partner
You see the longing in you to take deeper steps.
Partners are those who may not live on the land but wish to be part of this transition. Through one-time or ongoing contributions, they help move land out of speculation and into long-term care. Their support strengthens regeneration, legal protection, and the structures that allow stewardship to endure. Supporters do not gain access or control. What they help create is land that remains protected, alive, and available to future generations of caretakers.

Choose how your investment creates impact.

Step 1 · Read & Self-Assess
Before applying, take time to read the residency invitation in full.
This is not a formality.
We ask you to honestly assess:
- whether you have the capacity for relational, practical, and reflective engagement
- whether this residency aligns with where you are actually at — not where you hope it will take you
- whether you are available for a practice of responsibility, contribution, and learning in real time
If you are unsure, we encourage waiting rather than applying prematurely.

Step 2 · Prepare Your Proposal
If the invitation still resonates, prepare a clear written proposal addressing the three required dimensions:
- Research & Inquiry — what you are exploring and why
- Contribution & Participation — how you will actively support the field
- Documentation & Return — how learning will be captured and circulated
This does not need to be long — but it must be intentional, specific, and honest.
Vagueness is usually a sign that the timing is not right.

Step 3 · Send Your Application
Send your proposal by email, including:
- your preferred residency length (1, 3, or 6 months)
- your available time window
- a short note about your background and current life context
Applications are reviewed slowly and deliberately.
This is a relational decision, not an intake funnel.

Step 4 · Dialogue & Alignment
If your proposal resonates, we will invite you into a conversation.
This step is about:
- clarifying expectations and boundaries
- checking relational and practical fit
- aligning contribution, rhythm, and timing
Not every strong proposal leads to a residency — and not every no means “not ever.”
Sometimes it simply means not now.
