The Mosaic framework
Mosaic operates through a clear dual legal structure: a company holds the land and core assets, while an association manages the village’s social and operational life. Within this association, we are developing a DAO-based governance system that goes beyond membership and smart contracts, structuring decision-making and defining an architecture of main and sub-projects. Mosaic is designed not only as a collective container, but as a coherent playground for entrepreneurship and startups—where shared infrastructure and accountable governance support individual initiative and innovation.
Land Stewardship
We’ve learned that if you want to reshape a culture, you have to begin at the foundation.
You can’t grow new roots in soil shaped by control, privatisation, and short-term commitment and expect something truly different to emerge. However compelling the vision, it will bend back into old forms if the ground itself remains unchanged.
We know this because we tried. We watched good intentions slowly erode into old patterns — taking relationships, visions, and livelihoods with them.
So our first invitation is not to an idea or a community, but to the land itself. To commit to the ground beneath your feet.
This commitment is the foundation of every relationship with Mosaic.

DAO Governance
Governance at Mosaic begins with the recognition that leadership must mature beyond domination or passivity. We are cultivating a form of leadership where feminine and masculine qualities are consciously woven together—clarity and direction held alongside relational intelligence, nourishment, and care. Governance is understood as a relational practice: staying connected to the people, the land, and the living systems that make the project thrive. Structurally, we are experimenting with direct leadership and the gamification of leadership roles, while developing a layered sociocratic decision-making process spanning maintenance, management, strategy, and vision. These layers allow us to formulate clear policies and agreements, some of which are encoded within a blockchain-based governance architecture. Within this structure, land is stewarded collectively, while individuals retain the space to initiate enterprises and projects that grow in coherence with the whole.
Regen Startup
Mosaic Startup is the outward-facing channel of the project—the interface through which what is researched, practiced, and refined inside the village can be transmitted, reproduced, and amplified in the wider world. It weaves together competencies such as water landscape and regeneration design, village planning, facilitation and mediation, conscious relating, bodywork, and event architecture, while also serving as a receptive container for new members and their skills.
If you feel resonance and carry a concrete idea, skill, or project that could root into this field, we invite you to send us a clear proposal.
We are actively seeking collaborations with individuals and organizations ready to build something tangible and coherent together.
